If you recognize yourself in any of these, we should talk.

You can't seem to start.

You know you want to quit. You've thought about it for months, maybe years. But the moment to actually do it never quite arrives.

You're struggling to stay quit.

You made it a few days, weeks, or longer. But the cravings, the stress, the routines keep pulling you back, and you can feel yourself slipping.

You've relapsed and you want to try again.

It already happened. You're frustrated, maybe ashamed, definitely tired of the cycle. You want to try again, but smarter this time.

What actually changes after one session.

Honest assessment

We look at what's actually kept you stuck, not what a pamphlet says should.

A real plan

Tailored strategies from 25 years of specialist work. Not generic willpower talk.

Mindset shift

The reframe most quitters never get, that makes staying quit feel sustainable.

Informative, entertaining, and inspiring. I've had students tell me they actually quit using tobacco after attending his sessions.

I'm Jon. I've spent 25 years helping people quit for the last time.

CTTS and NCNTT certified. Three decades of tobacco treatment. Behavior-change programs designed for university health systems, worksites, and private clients.

Most of my clients have tried to quit before. My job isn't a lecture. It's to figure out, with you, what's actually going to work this time.

A few things people usually ask.

What happens in the session?
We spend the first few minutes on context: where you are, what you've tried, what's worked and what hasn't. Then we work on the specific patterns and triggers that keep bringing you back. You leave with a personalized plan and a clear first step to take in the next 48 hours.
I'm not ready to quit yet. Is this still for me?
Yes. A lot of my clients book a session specifically because they're not ready. They want to figure out what that readiness even looks like, or break a habit loop before they commit. Not being ready is a great reason to talk, not a reason to wait.
I've relapsed (again). Is this still worth it?
Especially then. Most permanent quitters relapsed multiple times before it stuck. That isn't failure, it's the path. A session is the fastest way to figure out what was different about this attempt, and what to change before the next one. No lectures, no shame.
Is this medical advice or treatment?
No. Coaching is educational and behavior-focused. It's not medical or mental-health treatment, and it doesn't replace your doctor. If nicotine replacement, medication, or clinical care is part of your path, we can talk through that, and I'll suggest you also loop in your healthcare provider.
Do I have to sign up for anything ongoing?
No. This is a single 50-minute session for $97. No subscription, no package. If, after the session, we both think ongoing coaching or the community would help, I'll tell you, and you can decide from there.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session through the confirmation email, no questions asked. If it is inside 24 hours, I can't refund your session, but I will give you credit for it if you decide to purchase a multi-session package. This is because I can't rebook your time slot and I lose money on that.
Is this the same thing as the community or premium coaching?
No. This is the simplest way to work with me directly. Think of it as a starting point. The Always Be Quitting community and Premium 1:1 Coaching are separate offerings for people who want ongoing support.

Always be quitting until you've quit for the last time.
